Flax and Full

Despite my best efforts to get some extra sleep last night, I didn't fall asleep until well after the Dallas Cowboys' victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. That meant I was less than thrilled to be up early-ish this morning. Happy Monday!

I rebounded once I had my green tea and hot cereal, pear, and egg white. Over the weekend I bought some flax seeds to mix into my hot cereal for extra fiber and I hear it helps keep you full longer. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I can definitely attest to that fact! I felt pretty full for the entire morning and well into the afternoon.
1/4c BRM Hot Cereal
1 c water
1/2 tsp flax seeds
1/4c raspberries
1/3c frozen blueberries
1/2 tbsp PB

I wasn't in the mood for much more than a small salad around 2:45. The day has gone smoothly with a few meetings out on campus. The weather is warm again today so I'm enjoying my time outside!
On my plate: romaine lettuce, beets, a few chickpeas and slices of black olives, black beans, a piece of tofu and broccoli.

Off to more meetings and looking forward to meeting up with some old work friends tonight!
